Muttering Rain

An atmospheric 3D survival horror game, developed using Unreal Engine 5 for the sixteenth Themed Horror Jam by a team of 12. The main jam theme was State of Anarchy.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

UX Design

I worked closely with our game designers to develop user interactions within the game loop, this was a different project than previous ones, as an atmospheric 3D exploration/survival title. I began by helping to brainstorm the gameplay with the game designers, before creating quick, sketchy wireframes for each scene based on that brainstorming session, I then presented the initial wireframes to the team for feedback and made any changes that would improve our player's experience.
